Rose Marie (Waresak) Keeley passed away peacefully on May 18th, 2011. She was born in Stowe, PA on Dec 31, 1924, the youngest of 5 children to Josephine and Peter Waresak. She was married in 1944 to William H. Keeley (d. 1985). She was Mom, Mom-Mom, Ba-Ba, and Aunt Rose to a large extended family that will remember her for her loving selflessness. As a younger woman, Rose enjoyed playing cards, bowling, family gatherings, and many trips to the Jersey shore. Rose had a sweet tooth and loved to spoil the children in her life with toys and “goodies”. She loved dogs, no matter how misbehaved. In her later years she enjoyed bingo at Parkwood and listening to audio books. Rose lived for most of her life in Pottstown, PA. She waited on regulars at Dempsey’s Diner for 25 years before becoming locally famous as the proprietor of TeleMart Home Shopping. Rose ran the storefront on High Street but also answered callers, ran the local cable access studio, and even appeared on air occasionally. Rose lived for 10 years in Bensalem with her son Bill and daughter-in-law Meg. She recently moved to Levittown with her son-in-law Alex Thompson and her daughter Rosemarie, who passed on May 1st from complications related to surgery and spina bifida. Rose then moved to San Francisco to join her son and his family, where she was warmly welcomed by her great grandson Lucas and enjoyed her remaining time with them. Rose is survived by son William D. Keeley and his wife Margaret; grandson Michael B. Keeley, his wife Olga, and their son Lucas; and grandson Ryan D. Keeley and his partner Tanya Brown.
